Booking conditions

1. A reservation shall only be deemed valid if the deposit of €80.00 is paid into the following account within 12 days of our confirmation. Otherwise, the campsite management are entitled to cancel the reservation.

The deposit paid will be taken into account when calculating the final camping price.

2. The full camping fees are payable in full at the start of your stay based on the number of nights booked. Water consumption on the pitch is included in the camping fee, including VAT and tourist tax. Visitor’s tax does not apply. We reserve the right to amend our prices to reflect any changes to VAT and/or other taxes.

3. Campsite management reserves the right to move bookings to a different pitch in special circumstances.

4. The campsite rules available in reception apply throughout your stay, particularly the safety distance of 3 m from the neighbouring mobile home, caravan or tent.

5. The pitch may only be used by registered guests; reception must be notified of any additional people.

6. The pitch hired must be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure, and is available to arriving guests from 3 pm. Guests should report in by 6 pm on the day of arrival. If you will be arriving later than this time, please let us know before 6 pm otherwise the reservation will be cancelled and section 7 shall apply.

7. If you have to cancel your stay with us, please let us know in writing; ideally by email or fax. 7.a) and 7.b) shall apply.
a) our flat-rate cancellation fee for cancellations before 45 days of arrival is €60.00.
b) more than 44 days before arrival the tenant shall pay a flat rate of €20.00 for each pitch not used by them, however this flat rate shall not exceed €80.00.
This also applies if you shorten your duration of stay!
c) In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, the full amount will be charged and any deposit paid will not be refunded.
d) No refund is made for early departures.

2. The rental amount based on the number of nights booked, ancillary costs and final cleaning, less the deposit already paid, must be made in full 4 weeks prior to arrival. VAT and tourist tax are included in the rent, visitor’s tax does not apply. We reserve the right to amend our prices to reflect any changes to VAT and/or other taxes. A €100.00 deposit and any additional rental fees must be paid upon arrival. Deposits paid will be disbursed on the day of departure. We reserve the right to hold the deposit if any damages to property or facilities occurs.

3. Campsite management reserve the right to change the rental property if there is a justifiable reason.

4. The rental property must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure, and is available to arriving guests from 3 pm. Guests should report in by 6 pm on the day of arrival. If you will be arriving later than this time, please let us know before 6 pm otherwise the reservation will be cancelled and section 5 shall apply.

5. If you have to cancel your stay with us, please let us know in writing; ideally by email or fax. 4a) to 4c) shall apply.
a) our flat-rate cancellation fee for cancellations made before 45 days of arrival is €200.00.
b) the tenant shall owe €300.00 if cancellation is made within 44 days of arrival.
c) if cancellation is made within 10 days of arrival, the full amount must be paid.
d) In the event of a no-show the full amount will be charged and any deposit paid will not be refunded.
e) No refund is made for early departures.

6. Special terms and conditions
a) A deposit of €100.00 is required.
b) Pets are not permitted in the rental properties.
c) Tenants are required to treat the property with care and ensure it is only used by the contractually specified number of guests. Please check the rental property for any damage upon arrival and let our service staff know immediately if there are any issues.
d) The tenant is responsible for any damage to the property and furnishings - the deposit may be held by us in the event of damage.
e) The campsite rules apply in the Baltic Sea chalets as well as the entire Ostsee-Campingplatz Kagelbusch site.
f) The rental property must be left in a clean state upon departure. Rubbish must be disposed of in the waste bins provided and dishes washed up. This is not included in the final cleaning.
g) Any lost keys will be subject to a charge of €25.00.
h) All Baltic Sea chalets, Hotel chalets, mobile homes and rental caravans at the Ostsee-Campingplatz Kagelbusch are no-smoking areas.
